Africoast Investments consists of a team of skilled professionals with a proven track record within the energy, infrastructure, agriculture and property industries in Sub Saharan Africa.
Africoast Investments was born out of the passion for change and the ever-evolving interests of its founders.
The company was originally founded as Silva McGillivray Inc. in 1997, whereafter it was rebranded to the Africoast Group in the early 2000s to reflect our changing interests. From there, we started to develop wind and solar projects across South Africa, with multiple successful projects in early REIPPPP rounds.
Our focus is now on the development of utility-scale renewable assets across Southern Africa, such as the Crossroads Green Energy Solar Cluster.
